just lost a half hour of progress to dying. had been doing side quests and got in over my head finally, I guess. send me back a solid 3 side quests. setting somewhere, or just bad luck? goin to be sitting through some unskippable cutscenes again :/

dude...F5, its is the quick save hotkey...you can save anywhere anytime....there is no reason for you to ever lost any progress...

Try to manual save or autosave regularly anyway. I do find that you can't manual or quicksave on certain dialog options, which is fair enough. All these choices are what make this game so replayable. You want to experiment with what kind of outcomes you can get out of the game. Like. man, I want to save as many NPCs as I can and unlock more content. :/

Ha, I have the exact opposite problem; it autosaves too often not loading what I want.

I'll try to load up my quicksave and 2 auto saves have already been written and the game loads the latest of them instead.
