i dislike this implementation into games.
as having disabilities it takes me a while to decide what to say and would miss every conversation if this is the case.
i will support the game regardless but may not continue to play if true?

Hell no.

Its dystopia, whats the point if you can make always the choices you prefer. I think it makes the game more "chaotic" right like how it should be. The game wants you to screw up, what is kinda punk/rock mentality etc.

I'm not disabled but i agree with you. I pretty much end up hating most 'timed event' games as it often feels 'artificial'. Still i would expect that a mod would come out to fix this issue at some point as many people will feel the same as you on this subject.

There are other ways to make a game feel 'edgy' and 'cool' (like proper well written plots and characters) without having to force 'gamey' conventions into it. Likely if this is the way they have designed these conversations we will have to live with it, until the mod comes along that removes/reduces the timings etc :)

Theres also permanent fail or success on missions, as far I know.. doubt mod can fix that. If you fail a mission, you gotta live with that. Also HC-mode, you play without UI too.

So that said, sure you can mod Cyberpunk, but its what its in the end.

Im with open mind, if CDPR do it right, it could be damn fun and something new to game industry. But push HC too far, it will hurt your sales for sure.

There should be ways to freeze/pause your entire computer to have time to think ;) But I agree that I like to play more leisurely in my free time.
I'll take the game as it's intended to be played. But I am not a fan of the timed responses, either. I'm not disabled, I'm just kind of dumb and indecisive. lol xD
With any single-player game I'd say that cheat engine is the way to go here and probably not for the reasons you're thinking about immediately. We're not really cheating but instead bringing in a feature that wasn't already provided as an accessibility option. QTE style games are my least favourite and having similar styles forced into other games are just not fun especially if it ties decisions to a timer based on quicly reading and answering a question (in a game show style manner where you only have "30 seconds on the clock").

Cheat engine (CE) can alter the speed that your game runs at and while this may sound silly I'll give you some examples where it becomes useful:
- Forced cut-scenes that while "unique" the first time you saw them are now just effing boring: Speed it up by x20 or whatever your system can handle.
- Forced "no pause" crap is a no go in an offline single player experience, if I wanna hit the head well then screw you for forcing the cut-scene to play out without me having the option to pause, we're not in the 90's anymore.

CE can solve these issues with customizable shortcuts to make it so easy to skip this crap.
1. You have a courier delivering stuff at your door during a cut-scene, Ctrl + Numpad 0 as in my example sets the game speed to 0 - aka Pause.
2. You're watching a forced 15 second clip of <X-Brand GPU ad or other Logos about physics engines, game engines, etc. that you don't give a about crap about. AGAIN for the 15th time that you've started up the game. Ctrl + Numpad 5 for a 50x speed boost (or even 20x, this beats anything at 1x).
3. Return things to normal with a Ctrl + Numpad 1 to set the speed back to 100%

Of course some games do have issues with audio not always playing ball but in general most single player games will be doable with this approach at least when it comes to pausing the game when you need to pause it. Let's see if CP2077 plays ball or if it is even required to play ball (if I can't hit Escape or something similar to pause things if I need to then CE will save me).

I dont know what it has to do with dumnbess, not all player want to follow the story and read every bit of it. For example Im not story guy. I may take a quick look at it but usually I prefer action and combat. Its just how they make it, they can punish or give player a penalty if he doesnt get good or right answer, or then they could just say "Hey, we got you bro".

Sadly I think most players think exactly punishment/penalty, because thats the foundation game industry is built. You are dumb and lonely, you gotta grind 10 time harder etc. When smart player with friends usually do the same thing in 15 minutes. Ultimately its CDPR's call what direction they wanna take. "Happy Hardcore" sounds like fun to me. Witcher 3 was quite casual if I remember it right.
