I can't find any information on the expiration of the Merc Store Discount for early pre-orders but I assume it's use is limited by a time constraint?
Won't let me post the link to the support page. the link is on Cyberpunk's page though you should be able to find it

What bothers me is the store is not shipping outside of Europe atm and only has US and Canada as "coming soon".

I should mention: I ask because (currently) the Store doesn't deliver outside of Europe, it also seems to be constantly "out of stock" in the items I'd purchase (e.g. The beautiful mug, The Wolf School book).
Maybe they'll push the expiration date a bit into the future if they can't pile up enough stock so everyone can make a purchase. Noticed the lack of stock availability on a ton of things, too.

Thanks for directing me to the Cyberpunk site, I'd totally forgotten it even existed. Seems we don't get very much time before the 30% expires.

Hoped they would've overhauled the shop before Cyberpunk went on sale, looks like it hasn't changed since TW3.

Part of me wants to pre-order now to show my support, the other part of me which has been burn't by such things in the past sees little incentive :/
I would like to pre order, but all the stuff at the merch-store in the proper sizes are sold out...and i don't think they will be available in the next 20 Days before Expiration Date!!!!
Is there a solution?
Where do you get the discount?
I've already bought it and there was no email with a code or anything.

edit: found it on the website library, the serial key section doesnt come up in the galaxy client

I don't pre order games in genral, but was going to make an exception for Cyberpunk, just because CDProject deserves us to throw our money at them. Anyway checked the merch store and pretty much anything is out of stock, with no information for availability. In my point of view this pretty much renders the merch store disccount code for pre ordering useless, given its short expiration date. So for now decided to postpone the order, hopefully they will sort this out.
Very disappointing that it expires so quickly. Not sure I'm going to preorder this far in advance, but could have been tempted to for this, but no point with so much out of stock.
what if an item is out of stock?

Yeah now, how's that make you feel, USA? Huh?

(Just go with it, let me just address you as the whole of USA for just a sec.)

Do you know how many shops have incredibly awesome stuff that won't ship to anywhere outside of USA...? Remember this feeling. Foster it deep inside of you, let it grow. Spread it. And then, one day, when you or someone you know is sitting in a board meeting with others who suggest to "only ship our product within the USA", tell them a little story about how you feel about that. Make the world a better place for all of us.

... okay, USA... aaaand check. Next on my list iiiiis... Japan.
Now, please excuse me while I lie in wait for someone from Japan to complain.

=D
Obvious /jk, stores limiting shipping to <region> are BS we have to deal with faaaaar too often over here and all of the rest of this world. Most stores with awesome shit only ever ship to USA, or Japan, wherever they are from. As such, have an upvote from me.

It's not because businesses don't want to sell their things outside fo the US. They often don't ship to other countries because the mail carriers in those countries are not reliable (or too expensive) or there are high duties on imports. Complain to your goverment and local mail service. Businesses are happy to take anybody's money.
"Not reliable"? XD
Way to go with baseless claims like that! While on that topic, I hear that in some cases, packages just completely disappear in the USA without a trace. That's why their store doesn't deliver to USA, true story...!
... for real though, there's always those cheap carriers that "lose" valuable packages if you look hard enough to find them. Or if you have no idea and just sort carriers by price. Happens even in the USA, so please get off your high horse.

As for expensive. Customers are paying for shipping and customs, not the business!
If I order something from abroad outside the EU, there are various confusing rules that apply with customs ranging from no additional fees to double the price in total after customs, but here's the amazing part of it, all of that is on my end, and a business can just go, "* customs and taxes may apply" and they're pretty much done with it. Stick an advanced form on it and / or an exterior envelope with a copy of the delivery note - they have both of those on hand at your post office - and that's it.

Businesses are happy to take anybody's money - as long as they are within the USA.
If they really wanted my money, they could. But they don't care. It's more about, "how lazy can we possibly be and still make a profit" rather than "let's find out how to expand our market to the rest of the world". And that's why lots of potential customers are out of luck world wide. Because, there are those stores that do work international, both small and big. ... witchcraft...!

So yes, in the end it does come down to businesses actually just not caring enough to sell their product outside of the US.
However, fortunately for you, CDPRs store clearly does care enough about their fans world wide, and thus they do invest the efforts of looking into how to most efficiently handle international orders, including USA, and they're doing that literally right now.

Doesn't it say in the FAQ that if you are from the US that if you wait till they open a US store your 30% discount can be used in the US store (as long as you haven't used it up to buy something in Europe)?

I just hope they will refill the stock soon or prolong the expiration date of the discount.

Here is data on postal reliability: https://tcdata360.worldbank.org/indicators/h10d190b9?country=BRA&indicator=24709&viz=bar_chart&years=2013

Certainly, many places fair much worse than others. Packages get lost in every country, but obviously more in some areas than others.

Also, shipping costs vary considerably. For example, I can order a key chain from China for $1 (which includes shipping). Yet It would cost more than ten times that for me to ship it back. Postage rates vary not just from country to country, but by direction. You can't sell low cost items in both directions many times due to how global shipping rates are set up.

I'm not sure about your argument as CDPR allows digital purchases. The logistics and cost of shipping to some areas may just make it not profitable. If they have to ask $65 for a t-shirt because of shipping, it's just better to not even list to that country. What is so difficult to understand about that?
