I'm playing Cyberia for the first time and I'm a little confused with the controls. I'm at the warehouse area, right after you were restrained from a chair and stole the weapon from the guard. I climb up the ladder and when I enter a door, I get shot. I was told to lock the door behind me but I don't know how. I tried pushing every key on the keyboard and nothing works. I only know that "L" is to load your saved files.

The PDF manual unfortunately only shows the 3DO control settings and not PC or Mac.

It's been a while since I played through Cyberia, but usually, if you die while directly conrolling Zack, you missed something on the way that could prevent it. Also, the game sometimes has multiple choices and you can avoid being captured. Now as for the controls, it's just the arrow keys and space. (Except when you are doing a riddle and you thus can use your glasses different vision modes)

What is with the increasing lack of manuals?
People are buying the game, at least order the manual off ebay to scan it
You can't seriously expect anyone to learn to play by guessing

The aim in the shooting segments shifts back to the right by itself
Is that supposed to happen or is it a bug?

Also there are times when you can do some sort of scans - In fact, some puzzles become pure guesswork if you don't scan whatever you're messing with. ( Trying not to unload too many spoilers, you won't get past this hangar without an opportunity to scan something)

You can do three different scans. One is an infrared scan, another is a magnetic scan and there's another for a some sort of biomass scan (which I haven't needed to use so far). You activate them by pressing F1 - F3 when your viewpoint changes to that of your visor. There'll be a small bar on the right side of the screen, I think it indicates an energy level.

Who knows how to invert mouse in this game? When i push mouse up cursor goes down.

My brand new flight stick will not calibrate correctly! I goes down and left, just not right and up , "all the way". Anyway its calibrated in windows properly , but this game will not work with a joystick maybe with windows 10? Please help. Also I noticed when launching game the whole screen seems to be offset to the right.... maybe part of the problem. I fixed that with monitor movement buttons. The "RETICULE" is very all over the place.. Thanks , I would pay for this answer....LOL. Very aggravating

Try editing the dosbox%.conf:

[joystick]

timed=false

I appreciate the help. I just cant seem where to find that file. I searched my PC for it and comes up with nothing... Hmmm

That's not the literal name of the file. It's starts with 'dosbox' and ends with '.conf'. No quotes. Usually with _gamename, _single, etc.

OK, and that was from LAST year.

Why is this marked as solved? The no manual problem still hasn't been solved

Necroing thread in case this helps someone - there's a README.txt file in the intallation directory which contains the PC controls. The 3DO manual can be used for everything else I guess.
