Play long enough and you'll eventually get this item. The blade itself resembles an actual weapon called the kusarigama. The kusarigama was a sickle that was attached to a chain. It also happens to be one of my favourite ninja weapons. I'm not really sure how it would be deployed IRL, though. I tried looking up demonstrations online, but couldn't find a decent practical experiment. Someone can get seriously injured by this thing, so that's probably for the best. Wikipedia says the weapon would be used to disarm an opponent. This is also not a battlefield weapon. Swinging the sickle would hurt more allies than opponents. It's best used for ambushes and one on one duels. That's all I can' think of for now.
