Hello,
I'm running Arch Linux (4.4.5-1 x86_64). Previous version(s) of the game worked fine. When I try to start the game the screen turns grey with an empty white bar on top and stays that way. nothing else happens. The Console doesn't give any further output after "Running The Curious Expedition".

In the syslog I get:

Apr 09 02:04:08 ein kernel: electron[1203]: segfault at 7ffeaa36bca0 ip 00007f5f20dabbc4 sp 00007ffeaa36bc80 error 6 in libfreetype.so.6.12.3[7f5f20d48000+b9000]
Apr 09 02:04:08 ein systemd[1]: Started Process Core Dump (PID 1221/UID 0).
Apr 09 02:04:08 ein systemd-coredump[1222]: Process 1203 (electron) of user 1000 dumped core.
...dump...

Is this a problem with the library in question or the game?

I had the exact same issue with the lastest version of the game (1.0.0.4 GOG-17) and ArchLinux.

After reading some threads on github, I downgraded freetype2 to 2.6.2-1 and the game is now working like a charm.
