I've not been able to determine what the benefits are of giving mead to my vikings. This has led me to only build a brewery if there's a trade related reason to do so.

Long story short; does anyone know what the benefits of mead are?

Page 43 of the manual says: "Nourishing potions and mead prevent hunger, meaning your soldier does not have to search for food so often anymore."
