I haven't played in a while. I came back today and I had 2 Vitality, so I Studied them to get more Health and got Skill: a Stronger Physique and something else that was flipped over--presumably Health. I clicked Collect All, but can't find where either of my Health cards are, though the counter in the bottom left says I have two, which sounds right--this is my first increase, far as I recall.

I normally keep beside Reason and Passion, but they're not there. I don't remember seeing them when I loaded the game, either, just the two Vitalities, though I didn't think anything of it.

Found them. I moved one Reason to the left of the one in the screenshot (with 1/4-card grid snapping) just to see what it would look like, and beneath the original Reason was a circle like the Reason's (2), but covered by the Reason card. I moved that Reason card, and the two Healths were beneath it.

Found a bug, I guess. Not sure how they got that way. I'm not in the beta branch, and haven't been experimenting with the double click (patch notes warn that may be buggy). I'll update if I manage to recreate it.
