I seem to have come across a bug in the beta branch just released, upon attempting to start a cult. The clock gets "stuck" on A Sacrifice of Pain, where it keeps repeating it even after you give it a Health, and it will gladly gobble up all the Health you are willing to feed into it without ever progressing.
