I see that the patch for the steam version of the game has fixed the T3 softlock (refinery resources auto enabling refinery and therefore softlocking you out of T# advancement).

When is this coming to GOG? Seriously impending progression.

This is seriously annoying.

I still have to buy the game, but I find that situation really annoying.

Why are these updates not coming as quickly as they come on Steam?

It's coming to GOG in a few days ... or never. We can't know, so as always we are fucked. It's a shame such a common and gamebreaker bug still exist at the release.

Anyway, I found this : https://steamcommunity.com/app/1313140/discussions/0/5267542371383169767/. It fixed the problem for me. If someone needs help doing it, ask.

Not "as always", certain games are updated at the exact same time on GoG than on Steam.
The fact that no dev posted any single comment or answer on this forum GoG is already a hint about this situation...
NB : I don't say they are ignoring GoG voluntarily, they are probably into a ugly crunch as any release, but the result is still the same for us...

100% agree with all of this.

I would add about the "silence" from devs though: they are obviously under-staffed at Devolver Digital and at Massive Monster. Sure, "Massive Monster" is in Australia and United Kingdom, but "the result is still the same for us".
Despites all of this, I'm practically playing it H24 and it's really enjoyable and very refreshing.
I would describe it as a nice blend between Don't Starve (gameplay and "base management"), Gravity Falls (for the atmosphere, design ans some details of the cults) and Curse of the dead gods for the fights and rogue-lite part.
Very pleasant. (and for 30 years of intensive geekism, I grown pretty much hard to please)

I'm not yet T3 (I taking my time ^^), and I had only 2 blocking bugs (random rooms without enemies and doors still closed, or weapon suddendly unable to hit anything). This remains pretty much a few for a 1st day.

edit : I just sent them a kind invitation to not forget us and come say hello to us here. (with the general tab, if you indicate the game and PC, there is only Steam and the text box disapear)

I emailed them directly and they responded in like 5 min saying it is currently being worked on ASAP

Hopefully we will get the patch very shorty
Yeah I also have a bug where if I place a pathway down and get rid of it it will reappear where I last removed it from basically destroying my whole base pathway design each time I came back so I just stopped placing paths and they keep respawning no matter how many times I remove them this lowkey sucks how we aren't getting as good as support as steam i just hope we get a patch soon.
I'm about to kill the 3rd Bishop, and I'm not sure what is supposed to be this softlock
I have found cristals, started to build cristal-needing structures and even already opened the 4th Bishop door. (I have opened the 3rd and 4th bishop doors at the same time, I had 21 followers back then)

They didn't answered to my message yet. (not sure they will as I mentioned my bug topic here on GoG but didn't explained any bug in my message)

Any news about this patch coming on GOG ?
Sorry to bother, as I didn't experienced it, but as I understand this bug, it happens if you obtain and use refined planks, stones or gold bars *before* unlocking refineries, preventing you to unlock the entire tiers, only the refinery which wont produce at all. Am I right ?
So my question is : how can you obtain them without refineries ? I finished the game taking my time and wandering around (almost 170days ingame, more than 50 hours irl), and I never found any of these anywhere. Do they appear in inventory by themselves ?

You can have theses items thanks to Offering Statue (which is tier 2 building).
Well I have 9 offering statues and they never gave me any refined stuff, not a single time in 50 hours of playing... (I pick them 3 times a days or so if I'm not in dungeons, and I'm above 160 days ingame)

I still have to refine stuff with my refineries if I want some. Maybe they appear "because" you use them without refinery ? (I made offering statues pretty late)
But thanks, I understand better the situation. (I hope devs do too... I still have no answer from them, and nobody came here yet)

The development team is supposedly spread in Melbourne (Australia) and United Kingdom. Hopefully the studio director is in Australia, because it's Monday morning over there.

My irritation is mostly aimed towards the publisher, Devolver Digital... What a messy launch... There's a fan-made Google Doc with 163 known issues.
