/me wanders round kicks the inert corpse of Crysis Warhead 32 bit version.

So I take it this one of those permanent temporary things.
Any official update, yet? While the 64-bit exe is my mainly used exe, the StarCry mod recommends using the 32-bit exe as support for the 64-bit exe is still in beta. Thanks.
Any news on the 32 bit version?
Yes please I'd like this to get sorted as well.
Good thing you can play it in Wine on Linux. Most Linux distros come in 64bit version and most of them are free so you are not left out as any hardware capable of playing Crysis Warhead is also 64bit capable. So if you are left at 32bit with Windows, you know what to do unless you want to change to Windows 10.
EA will not bother releasing a 32bit version for this, the way they see it, it's an old game and the 64bit version works. They'd probably just tell modders to make the gane 64bit compatible and wash their hands.

I'm using Win7 64bit, but only the 32bit executable boots up, so it's not just for people stuck on 32bit Windows.

Rats :-( Talked to the GOG support about that?

Thiev: Hi all,
due to problems found post-launch we are forced to temporarily remove 32bit version of Crysis Warhead from our build. We are working with the publisher to resolve this issue, but there is no ETA at the moment.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Will this issue be resolved?

Since it has not for this long, most likely not.

Was this solved? Cause I've installed the game on old 32bit machine and found no 32bit exe.
Another 32-bit user here waiting for a version I can use. :(

At this point it would seem appropriate for GOG to reinstate the "flawed" 32-bit version (with an appropriate warning) rather than continue to wait on EA.

Change to 64bits already! It is now much too late for any hope of recieving the 32bit version here. Any reason why you can only do 32bits in 2021?

Maybe sheer will to feel nostalgic and play on legacy hardware from back in the days? ( I for one remember playing Crysis on my friend's computer on CRT :D )
Or maybe he/she is trying to run it in VM on some obscure 32-bit only platform (there is plenty, even new ones, say smartphones [hey, if one wants to test how much their battery can swell by discharging in mere seconds /s], or some scientific platforms, testbeds, prototypes and such).

And btw, "switch to 64" isn't a solution.
It's like saying "switch to Windows 10".

Other stores do have 32 bit executable so why shouldn't we have it?

Also: 32-bit only MODS

Alright, 32 bit only mods are actually a very good reason.

You do not need Windows 10 for 64 bits. I had 64 bits on my Vista pc already and there are plenty of free 64bit Linux distros.

Yes, we should have received a 32bit version years ago but unless GOG changes owners I cannot see that ever happening now. Please GOG surprise me!
