Hi.

I need some help, i can't get the game to run.

Try to run the game from galaxy, black screen can hear the intro.
Try to run the game from CrysisLauncher.EXE, black screen can hear the intro.
Try to run the game from Bin64/Crysis.EXE or Crysis64.EXE, black screen can hear the intro.
Try to run the game in DX9, black screen can hear the intro.

I don't know what to do, please help me.

My system:
I7 4710HQ
GTX 850M
8Gb RAM
W 8.1 64 Bit

i have the same problem. Nothing seems to help.

16gb ram

3 things:
What system do u use?
Are the graphic drivers up to date?
Do u hv multi-monitor setup?

Anyone managed to fix this? I'm running into this too

System: Windows 10, tried compatibility mode with Windows Vista
Nvidia GTX 660, graphics drivers are up todate

Black screen sounds like you need to install the correct version of DirectX.

SOLUTION!

It is not pretty, but works.

In the black menu with the cursor, open the console (I think it's the ^ key, on foreign keyboards it might be anotehr one. ~ perhaps? Google it.).

Type

CON_RESTRICTED 0

than open any map, for example

MAP ambush

The game loads, everything works. Now you can not only play, but chose the option to return top the main menu. There you can set all options as well as starting a new game or laoding old savegames.

You'll have to repeat this on every start, though.
