In single player, you can look further, scout ahead and snipe enemies. This is not possible in coop, you cannot move your cursor as far or look (much) further ahead. This makes exploration very slow and methodical as we had to slowly creep around every corner to not be surprised by enemies. It also made it impossible to play any kind of sniper-loadouts (Hushpuppy).

Players have to remain very close together, otherwise you are unable to see beyond your suit.

Shields, teleportation, cloak etc. do not work for the second player.

Doors sometimes only work for P1 or P2.

Frag grenades cause friendly fire

The game is much harder in coop because you get to see less/are more zoomed in, have to deal with more visual clutter and projectiles etc.

We never made it far because we had to sneak around, taking out enemies one by one - and once ships got repair, shuffling and nuke systems in larger layouts, there is not enough time to take out systems. Some of the singleplayer tactics cannot be applied to coop play.

I cannot even get past the screen where it keeps saying that it requires two controllers, I love be deeply grateful if you could tell me how you got around this (I have two controllers).
