Hi,

I wonder if anyone can advise me please?

I am running Vista 3.2 gig ram Q9550 quad core and a 1gb Nvidia 280Gtx

In the Cryostatis video menu the hardware physics option is turned on but, the advanced physics X option cannot be turned on.

I have tried installing the physicsX runtime program in this forum but no change.I have also checked my video card settings and physicsX is turned on.

Based on the average game hardware requirements I would have thought that my GPU would have been adequate to run the advanced physics in this game .

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thank you

I found the answer, the video shader setting was defaulted to 3 when I changed it to 4 the advanced physicsx could be turned on.
Caused a bit of a performance hit, frame stuttering at first but it seems that the game (for me anyway becomes more fluid after a short while of playing) the stuttering soon stopped and everything seems fine.
I was wondering why I couldn't activate PhysX myself, but I'll try cranking up the shader settings as well. Thanks!
