Yes, indeedy. It was a great game, and I'll be playing Crusader: No Regret before very long. Initially, I found the controls weird, but after a while there was no problem.

I ran past the woman at the end, leaving her to die on the exploding space station. I do, however, wonder how it would have been possible to kill her, what with her shield. Who can enlighten me?

I used so many rockets and energy weapon shots that I lost count, as she can absorb a ridiculous amount of damage. I just rolled side-to-side in and out of cover, taking shots at her as much as possible while exposed before rolling back to cover, and recharging energy as needed.
Congratulations on finishing it.
I vaguely remember that to kill whatshername you needed to take out some powertransformer things in the next room to lower her shield and then she could be taken out with a few shots.

I'm replaying No Regret at this moment and I'm having a lot of fun with it, though I had forgotten how hard this game is (loose cannon difficulty).
I didn't think any amount of damage would kill her, so hearing that it could, I tried a little harder. First, I sent 18 spider bombs her way. She doesn't move before you talk to her. Then I got shooting, and eventually, she expired.

I'd like to know what the "powertransformer things" are, as I didn't noticed anything that looked shootable.
There should be a couple of power generators on the left side of the screen, just past where she is standing. What I usually do is just take the multi-shot missile launcher (SR-1, I believe) and just unload it in her general direction. It usually ends up taking out the generators and her with it :)
I had noticed that destroying that kind of generator often changed things, but it didn't occur to me on this occasion because the generators weren't before the baddie who needed killing, so I didn't pay attention to them. I just did the deed, but I didn't notice it taking less time than it would have otherwise. I didn't use the spider bombs this time, which was, in retrospect, a booby. Maybe if I had, I'd have seen a difference.
Glad you finally finished the game. I started playing No Regret but haven't gotten far yet because I want to finish my Baldur's Gate 2 run first :P

In No Regret, you don't have to worry about weapons as there is no weapon carry limit. You don't buy weapons either, they are found throughout the missions. It will be one less headache in that regard at least ;)

Oh yeah, and controls are more responsive too :)

Did you use the arrowkeys? It's impossible to use the mouse since you have to move the left hand from the arrowkeys to the inventory keys.

That's what I did, too. After trying unsuccessfully to kill her, even with a steady stream of rockets, I naturally started to look for other ways to work out the situation (that's what most games expect you to do, after all). As soon as I spotted the red card, I honestly assumed that grabbing it and quickly escaping the station was the only way you were supposed to finish the game.

I agree on everything.

PS
Am I the only one to think that Suzanne Savoy looks very, very good in this?
