I was replaying the Crusader games and finished No Remorse, so I know how to use the spider bombs. However in No Regret, he tosses the spider bomb out and it just sits there. I can't move it like I did in the first game. I can't find anything on how to move/steer the bombs. Anyone know? I don't know if my game is bugged or I'm not doing something right.

Are you sure it's a Spider Bomb and not a Spider Mine? I vaguely remember there being a mine variant that you can't control but finds enemies on its own when they're in sight.
That said, it's been a while since I've played the game.

You remember in no remorse the spider bomb just starts moving straight where you aiming and then you have to be precise with the directions keys, the bomb is always moving, maybe there is another item. I'm still stucked in no remorse. I went no remorse difficulty first run and am dying a lot.

I do seem to have an issue with spider bombs in No Regret, though. In No Remorse I can control those bombs with the num pad, in No Regret they just run straight ahead, not reacting to to my inputs on the num pad at all, just occasionally changing course when I hit the number 5.

I haven't come across any spider mines, yet.

PS: I think I have found the solution: In the first game I just press up and the spider bomb moves upwards. In the second game I have to press up and then 5 as some kind of enter and then the bomb moves upwards. I'll always have to press 5 after any directional input, to make the bomb change course.
