In Mission 3 of No Remorse, I'm in the thermatron manufacturing plant and I've ground to a halt.

I have a numeric code, but when I use the only numeric keypad I can find (first screenie), I get a message of "Code red: access denied." There's another door (second screenie), but when I press the button, I hear "Access denied. Alarm must be deactivated."

So I have to deactivate the alarm, but I've flipped every switch, used every computer, and destroyed every generator or camera that I can find. Who'd like to tell me what I'm missing?

The thing in the middle of the picture below is the kind of switch that deactivates alarms (from the top-right corner of your first picture). It'll be blinking on and off when an alarm is active.

That thing is resistant to my bullets, mines, and spider bombs, although the long thing beside it isn't, which I didn't previously know. Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You simply use it like any other switch, by maneuvering your character close to the switch and pressing the 'S' key until the switch is highlighted. If nothing happens, try moving to different places near the switch (one of the annoying things about these games is finding the right place to stand in order to use some switches).

Right. So I was supposed to press it and not shoot it. Oops. Now, what have I just unlocked? The keypad doesn't immediately open anything, but it unlocked the door shown in my second screenie, which led somewhere I'd already been.

I think at this point, all you need to do is use the computer console located in your first screenshot to the bottom left in order to complete your mission objectives, then exit the the level I believe also using the teleporter in the first screenshot, to the top right.

Hellfire. I went all around that place looking for the computer - the machine pictured by the gadget that gives you your objectives - and I was wondering why I couldn't find it. So THAT's it. I also wouldn't have guessed that I had to use that particular teleport. Thank you muchly. These days, I remember to set these things up as questions so you can have some karma as well as some glory.
