Vagabond: We're redesigning the site. Actually, it's done now, but we need to get the domain stuff set up.

HideoKuze: The Crusader series is part of this weekend's promotion by GOG, since I had them in my wishlist I was going for the kill.
To my surprise the soundtracks aren't included in GOG's release. But thankfully there are awesome fans out there.
Thanks for this. I can't wait for the site to go up.

My question is: why doesn't include *all* the extras as it should?
A lot of the extras I provided weren't part of the original release. Some of it was from the Oriign archives: design documents, concept art, and the like. GOG didn't receive permission from EA for those specific documents to be distributed, so they're playing it safe and only offering materials from the original box.
I see.

But regarding to music in particular, I would expect gamerip soundtracks to be included. After all that is part of the game data files. It would just be provided in a convenient way with properly set mp3 tags. (I'm speaking in general here, not just for the Crusader games)
Copyright works in mysterious and sad ways *sigh*

I agree, it's strange. It'd be easy to open the files up with foobar + foo_dumb and convert & tag, though. If there's a way to provide file tags in an easy format, I'd distribute it on Echo Sector.
(again, speaking in general terms here)

This may sound odd, but for me having the game soundtrack easily available (and ideally properly curated) is a *serious* incentive into buying the game. Mostly because it allows me to get that necessary nostalgia dose even when I don't have time to play the game (free time is scarce).
Besides, some games have f'ing awesome music!

I agree. Sometimes soundtracks are the determining factor for me when buying a game here.

Indeed, GOG guys need to keep this in mind!

With the site down I can't see, but does your soundtrack collection include the track for the secret Christmas and Draygan levels?
Yes.
Looking forward to joining the Echo Sector community, Were any mods released for the Crusader games?

None. It's not really a moddable game.

Hopefully when the Pentagram engine comes out, there will be.
The site is back up!

Good news! Thank you Vagabond for bringing the site back up!
It's not working for me. I get "Error establishing a database connection" in Firefox and a 500 internal server error in (shudder) IE.

EDIT: Never mind.
