Hey guys I am currently stuck on the second campaign early phase. I restarted 3 times already, but I will always get stuck on the same point of campaign, when I need to rent a guest house for 3 peops. There will always be 2 scripted visitor and then after them, no one will stay. Now my fame is at 13 and it says from fame level 14 I get to rent my room. So i thought maybe if I raise my fame to level 14 I can progress on my campaign. but the thing is my fame does not increase! even after several hours and unlocking new recipes and hire shouters at other cities? Am I missing something?

and also I can't build any second floors. It is greyed out from the beginning of the second campaign!! when I watch youtubers (Raptor) their floors are accessable from the beginning! Is our GOG version totally bugged or what is going on?

please help me, I am getting really frustrated here..

The campaigns have their own philosophy about what you can do and when you can do it. From the very start of the first campaign, you have a second floor (though you have to unblock it and complete a quest before you can use it). In other places you have to unlock it on the fame/tech display, before it works.

I don't know where exactly you are in the campaign. I might never have reached that far.

About your rental quest: Do you have plenty of travelers in your inn? If not add some decor that they like and a recipe or two. Also about any of these quests: go through *all* the interface screens and look for highlighted buttons. Sometimes the quest description does not tell you all the things you have to do in order for things to progress.

thanks for the tipp, I figured it out. the ability to build a second floor has to be unlocked via skill tree (didn't see that before). and the enable guest to rent a guest room, I had to reach certain fame level first and to do that, I had to complete all given quest before I could progress in the campaign. So your tipp to look closely at the quests was the solution. thanks! I guess I was to impatient too dumb to realize that first. :D
