My colleagues from the Product team will contact the developer and see what can be done.
GOG has to contact the developers! This is ridiculous, totally unprofessional. I am all for supporting small indie teams, but there is a baseline for communication that Klabater does not have.

I noticed something weird. Kraken Unleashed is no longer listed as the developers on Steam, only Klabater. Wonder if that means anything.

Kraken Unleashed was/is their internal development company. With such a major failed release who knows if it's been dissolved or not.
All right, time to turn off those pests. (patch finally out) :)
If a hot patch released on Steam a day after the big anniversary update takes 6 days to appear on GOG, does that make it a cold patch?

Wonder if GOG contacting them is what finally got the game updated.
Glad to finally have the patch released here. Only problem is that the patch triggered a 5 GB download for me, which apparently is the entire game. Fortunately I have a fast Internet connection...

The majority of the games data is stored in just one big 5GB file: Bin\Project.pak. It seems every GOG Galaxy update requires this entire file to be redownloaded.

What is really strange is this is not the case for the offline DRM free installer, all you need to download is a small 25MB patch to update the game.
The patch is 25MB as an offline backup downloader.

Eh?

I still only see version 2.35 in GOG Galaxy 2.0. I manually told GOG Galaxy 2.0 to check for updates and got nothing. Even the offline installers on the gog.com website still say version 2.35.

What am I missing?

Open the game. The version number is in the bottom right corner of the main menu. It shows 3.0.1, at least for me. There apparently are no offline installer or patch notes for this version.

I see. Got it. Thanks!
