Seems a lot of other people are getting this, me too and done what you did, i thought it was my gfx card drivers that caused it as i just updaded them before starting the game but seems not.

I got the same this evening, reading the forums I found out there is an AMD related problem...I now wait for the game developers to release the patches here that are available on steam.

I get it on my GTX 970m. Updated drivers, rebooted laptop and reinstalled the game but no change.

I don't have AMD, but intel i5 + geforce gtx 1050 ti, but I have this same error.

Same error message here. Was hoping to play this a game. So, I hope the dev come up with a fix for this.

Same error for me. Until they come up with a fix you can revert the version to 1.4 by right clicking on Crossroads Inn on the left hand side of the screen, click on settings, turn off auto-update, and then select version 1.4. The game will at least run on version 1.4

So did 2.1 fix this?
