*sigh* really wish I didn't need to ask this for everything I buy on GoG, but guess they have no interest in addressing the "MINIMUM requirements" problem.

Short version - the devs updated the engine which now only works on Win10.
They mentioned looking into a branch that would work on older systems but months later, nothing.
A shame as I nearly bought it on sale. I can't afford a new system and my current one (which runs CP2077 just fine) would fare far less well under Win10's requirements.

Doesn't work on mine which is ridiculous as I bought the game when it worked on Win 8 and now I have a non functioning game.

I can confirm that this only works on Win 10 or above. You need DX11, and that is not available for Win 8.1 or lower. I feel your pain. Truly. I have bought so many in-development games that worked fine on my laptop, which has Win 8.1. Then, as they are being developed, they no longer work on my system. It's bs. Then, when you confront the seller, they say, "but the min specs say...". They didn't say that when I bought it!
