The release of the new patch (1.3.0 check the changelog thread for a complete list) has also come with some news about the upcoming Post game DLC:

They are aiming for release later this year on PC. Consoles will have to wait a bit more.

The addition of a new type of weapon for the DLC, the Ascended gear, that it will scale with the player level.
