If you follow the developer streams this news is not a big surprise but there is a new post in the oficial website with a little summary of what you can expect from the New Game+ feature that will debut with the 1.2 update.

You could use the points accumulated from the ingame trophy to customize the New game+, like disabling certain features or what you will carry from the previous game.
