I just downloaded the demo and, I have to say, this is one of the best games I've played in quite a while.

I don't buy "Early Access" or "In Development" titles due to being burned a few times in the past, not that you would do that but I try to stick to my general policies, but this game definitely sits in the top five of my wish list for when it is finally released.

Also, thanks to being on GOG at launch, I'm willing to pay full price for it rather than wait for it to hit 75% off over at The Evil Empire of the Dread Lord Gaben.

Aside from Ori and the Blind Forest (Owlboy looks like it could be one as well), which lost some value due to being seriously delayed in its GOG release, there haven't been many games since The Witcher 3 that were worth the price that was being asked for them. This, however, isn't just a great game but one that falls into my favorite genre as well.

I had a similar experience.

First time I heard about Crosscode was in a forum post and, for some unknown reason, I decided to try the demo. I loved it. I usually don’t pay too much attention to indie games but I’m glad that I did an exception because this was a pleasant surprise.

After that I searched to know more about it and I waited to see if they were going to release the game on GOG, I found some comments about it but nothing completely official, I would had buy it on steam anyway but if I have the chance I prefer to pick it here.

I also didn’t buy games on development (this was the first and most probably the last) but in this case I wanted to support the developers as soon as possible. And also didn’t mind to pay full price, I think the work that they have put into the game deserve to be rewarded.

I can’t wait for the final product.
