lippy: No, it happens every time I try to launch it. I've checked the installation, everything is fine and I can launch the game directly out of its directory. Maybe it's something specific to my machine, but I don't know what that would be.
Not sure if this could help but just in case.
I had a problem with several games that didn't launch from Galaxy and after some trial and error I found a workaround.
It seems that the problems was caused because the executable for those games had the option "Run this program as an administrator" active in the Compatibility tab inside the file properties.
I normally use an user that doesn't have admin rights and when I was testing things I found that if I login with an administrator user (not only run galaxy as an admin, because if I did that those games still had problems) the problem disappeared and the games could be launch from inside galaxy.
What I did was to disable the compatibility option "Run this program as an administrator" and I could launch those games from galaxy with my normal user.
I've checked the executable for crosscode (crosscode-beta.exe) and in my computer isn't marked to run as an admin, you could check if it's marked in your installation.
Just one thing that I don't want to forget to add, to avoid problems with folders permissions since I use a non-admin user I install my games in a dedicated disk. And I'm using windows 7.
Not sure if any of this is applicable to your case, but if you want to check and try.
As always with these kind of things if you are not sure don't change anything!
