Game still in Dev, and no updates or news since last October.

Went back on my word with this game and purchased a game in Dev that I said at one point that I would stop doing, after this one I will NOT purchase any game showing as In Dev in the future.

Seems the In Dev no news/updates that happens on Steam is now creeping onto GoG :(

Well there was an update the past December (version 0.9.8)
It added a few localizations, all the level 3 arts and few things more. You can check the changelog post here to see the additions/changes.

They explained that they had to split the version 0.9.9, that was originally planned for that month, in two updates (0.9.8 and 0.9.9) since they weren’t able to complete the work for Rhombus Square.

They expect to release the 0.9.9 in January – February.

For the final version there is no news so I suppose that they keep the schedule of “Early 2018”.

I’ve to agree that it could be good if more interaction with the community was done here but looking at the state of this forum I can’t blame them for not posting here.
But if you have twitter they post some info there and also in their website.

I try to post about the news when they appear and try to keep and updated list with all the weekly Dev streams in case is usefull.
