Bought the game and am totally lost on how to make this game operate.

I cannot even move the Selection Highlight on the main menu. I have pressed every key and only two control anything that I have found. The mouse does nothing that I have found.

Q = Select
W = Cancel

Other than those two keys nothing makes anything work. If not, gog should really list this at the purchase page.

Can this game be played via keyboard (keyboard/mouse)?
If so, can someone please list ALL the controls for me?

Sorry to be an asshole, but why would you want to? Type in google "xbox360 pc wireless", it's about 40 Euros.

Maybe he wants to play with keyboard (I i.e. don't like gamepads) and maybe he don't want to spent 40 Euros?

But to answer a part of the question of the OP. The game plays fine with keyboard only (mouse does not do anything). I use (and these are the defaults) arrow keys to control the ship and menu entrys Y (Fire) , X (Lock) , C (Bomb/Brake Mode) and V (New Game). You can rebeind your keys if you like but you really should at least be able to select menu entrys. Can you highlight entrys with the arrow keys?

I just checked. This game only has digital controls. So, point taken. Sorry.
Buuuut, if this were, for example, Humans Must Answer, you take yourself some very wide maneuverability away by not being able to move slow or faster with a thumbstick.

Of course there are many games that normally would play better with a gamepad (or some even might say should only be played with gamepad) but in fact until now I managed to play even "Brothers" and "Trials" with keyboard. I love my keyboard and cannot even imagine using a pad.

Hey, a lot of people eat soup with a fork. Just made sure the thread opener knows the method the most people use and thus the game designers made priority for.

Only Q and W work? Very odd.

Does the menu appear to be normal? The game defaults to selecting start, so can you use Q to enter the game and play it? If so, do the directional controls work at that point?

It's kind of a long shot, but we've seen situations where the game's config file got corrupted before. You can try this to see if that's causing the problem:

1/ Deactivate Steam Cloud : Library > click right on CCWI > Properties > Update > remove the check from Steam Cloud

2/Unistall the game, and DELETE the game folder :
(steam install folder)/SteamApps\common\Crimzon Clover

3/ Start the game, and after checking that everything is alright you can set back cloud ON (1) but make sure to OVERWRITE the cloud content with local content if asked.

Also, you can try removing any USB devices and then seeing if the keyboard controls work properly, I've had experiences in the past where peripherals interfered with the controls on other games.
