Just as the topic says, No matter what settings i have before the game starts the game is horribly slow to even select the next menu or move the mouse around the screen.

Something horribly is wrong with the nglide options, It stretches the screen just fine, The video plays well but as for anything else its slow and horrible.

PLEASE Fix This LAG.

Its a great game I would hate to see this game BURN Because you can not even access the game.

You might contact Support or ask in the nGlide forum - http://www.zeus-software.com/forum/
I had the same problem on laptop with Nvidia 9100M G and Windows 10 x86.

SOLUTION:
Use 'NoGDIHWAcceleration' fix using Application Compatibility Toolkit

Update: 31.12.2017: Remember to save and install a database after choosing the fix

Also having the same issue, on a GTX 950M laptop with W10 x64. And I'm realy irritated about it because the game looks like a lot of fun and runs fine in-game, but the menu lag is absolutely intolerable. There's no way I could manage to get my gamepad properly configured when it takes 10+ seconds for any input to register at all.

I really hope someone fixes this.

This did not work for me, and I am having this problem as well. Win10 64-bit and GTX 1060.
Yeah, I tried that "fix" and it did nothing for me either.
It is working. You just did something wrong. Most likely didn't save and install a database after choosing the fix.
You can test it when creating using "test run" button.

You don't need any other compatibility settings.

I know how to follow basic directions. That "fix" did not work. If it worked for you, yippee. But it didn't work for me.

In the meantime, it'd be nice if someone at GOG would look into the problem. It's totally unplayable with the menus like this.

Yup, that fix may not work if you already messed bilion things up when trying to run the game. Also you didn't even post what settings you set up so I won't bother posting anymore. Direct3D is laggy for me, while OpenGL worked 9 out of 10 tries (reboot fixed it; reboot=/=shutdown+turn on on Win10)
Same problem here. Tried the fix with the compatabilty tool and it did not work. Windows 7 64-bit, 3.33ghz Core 2 Duo with 8600 GT.
Ok, this is weird. The game is working fine now. I had removed Compatability Tool settings and the database I created well before today. I think the computer may just need to be restarted after the game is installed. The only thing I have done since I installed the game was rearrange my office and I moved the computer this game is running on which required me to turn it off. This was about a week ago and this is the first time I have tried the game since I first installed it.

This is true.
