sorry for being completly conffused and lost but can i get someone's help in getting directions? at elat to start off.
i am just spat out into city and see many blue and a single purple triangles i assumed purple is target but... nothing realy happend when i arrived.

Can i get some guidance here? i assumed ill be given basic "go there do that" kind of open world schinanigans but as it stands i have zero idea what the hell is my direction supposed to be.

(emails said something about being approached about missions but... no mission givers seem to have been displayed following that mail - i assume i am some sort of undercover cop contractor criminal in city of crime)

Had exactly the same problem.
Hit "enter", PgUp PgDown.
The tutorial tells about it, but it should have been displayed in the keyboard mapping menu too.

Also use the map, the radar is really not worth looking at save for when a target is yellow. And yeah, default key to target objectives is M. Other nearby keys will switch to other targets like vehicles and whatnot. But yeah once you get a job from the 4th option in the menu when you press enter, put on the mission target and the map.
