Thought I'd share this with everyone.
For anyone having issues installing C1toDS for the GOG version of Creatures Exodus (complaining about accessing the bootstrap folder) here's how to fix:
1. Open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Gameware Development\Docking Station\
2. Create a 'key' and call it (without quotes) "InstallBlast"
3. In the InstallBlast key, create a "String Value" and call it "Directory"
4. Edit the string value and enter the path to your creatures Docking station folder
Example: c:\gog games\creatures exodus\Docking Station
5. After that, rerun the install and it should now install without issues
Note, this is provided C1toDS was set to Docking Station, if you tell it to install to Creatures 3, you'll have to add the "InstallBlast" key to Creatures 3 instead.
