It seems every time I do a wolfing run, all of my Norns just starve to death. I allowed them full access of the ship and left them to themselves. It seems the location of the most deaths was the elevator on the bridge. I noticed many of them died sitting inside the elevator. I figure they probably got stuck with the "Eat Elevator" in order to find something to eat. Normally, I'd say "Survival of the fittest" and just let those one die...but it's all of them.

So, for now, I've isolated my norns between the Norn Meso and Norn Terrarium. I've a "Door/Button hidder" agent to hide the Norn Terrarium doors so they can't wander the ship freely. I've also setup teleporters between the two rooms to allow Norn populations to mix easier.

This is a common problem. Your creatures are looking for a "door", but the umbilical is an elevator. The Umbilical Fix by Vampess changes the Ark-Capillata elevator to be a "door", which they will be much happier using independently.
