Signed. I don't mind getting a digital copy as backup since I had just purchased the rest of Creature series for backup here.

I see people saying that they can't find the breeds online. I just made a quick search on Google and the first proposition was a website to download them (all the official breeds).

Putting them on GoG would be a cool thing, but you can still easily find 'em nowadays

It's pretty easy to find the 'free' breeds online, but I think people are actually talking about the bought breeds - Bondi, Hardman, etc. Since they had to be bought it is still illegal to upload and redistribute them, but the Creatures Mall hasn't been around for quite some time now meaning you cannot actually buy them either at this point. It's still possible to aquire the genes by downloading norns with then, but not the sprites and eggs that installing the breed would allow.

In theory these files might be able to be passed around by community members legally, bit foggy on the details there, but this is somewhat dubious and not all that easy of a method for newer or returning players.


Would love to see this happen, never actually had the ability to buy the breeds back in the day and would really like another chance!

I cant find them in the wishlist but I'd love to see them here too. I only ever was able to get 2 of them, but I want the rest badly!

I would love to see the breeds available again. I bought them all back in the day, and backed them up on my family server just in case. I recently got C3DS from GOG and went to dig all the files out, only to find that some had apparently been lost or corrupted over the years. Thankfully due to the breeds included in Exodus, I'm only missing a single breed now: Toxics.
And of course, with the mall gone, I can't get them back. It would be great to see the old breeds come back, for both new players and old ones who have lost their files.

Giving this a bump, I'm not sure how many people are reading it these days but hey, worth a mention.

I already brought the Toxic Norns and so forth once but I'd happily do it again given the chance.

While it is always a bit bittersweet to purchase something you already own in one form or other, I have CD copies of half the games I currently own on Gog which are either incompatible or damaged beyond use.

Makes me wish I was more thorough backing up my stuff all the way back then. Who'd have thought I'd need the files now all these years later?

Buy? Feh. I realize that these aren't the original developers, but seriouisly? The content is ages old!

I'm just so glad I had O.C.D. before they knew it was O.C.D.

I backed up all my downloaded Blueprints, Agents, Meta Rooms, Norns, Breeds, Tutorials, Etc..

Whenever I burned a new backup cd/dvd, I kept the 2 older ones just in case.

Filled a huge binder with the de-spined hole punched game strat guides, Printed Tutorials, & a place for the discs.

So when GOG had them on sale, snagged them, & pulled out that binder..

Revisit the Creatures addiction...

Now that the Mall is gone, it'd be a good time to release these packs somewhere officially. Gameware couldn't have lost their own files, right?
