I just downloaded the game from GOG last night. Everything was going fine until my norns laid their first egg. It won't grow, I can't pick it up, and they can't pick it up. So far, I haven't had any more eggs, yet.

I've tried downloading the game again and running as the administrator. Neither of those things have worked.
