Unable to get Improved Portal to work Single Player total off line (no internet connection)
Portal pops up and shows blue lightning but nothing else in other words no possibility of Biome
Second and may be related I have Never had any thing on this machine "Drop out of sky" after a total of a couple hundred hours.

Bottom line This game is not DRM free it is at best DRM transparent because a couple of key features need a internet connection to a server to work.

Please do not tell me how to use Improved Portal I have online computer and use the portal and receive Sky Drops all of the time.

so it was DRM free at release. later the dev added a free(!) update that enabled those multiplayer biomes. what should they have done? lock us out of these features to prevent people like you from complaining? i also don't see how these are "key features". i've played over 100 hours of craft the world and i've never used the improved portal.
