Hi guys,

I have some problems installing the "Mod 1" for the GOG version of Cossacks. Have you got any idea how to install it? The mod installer is unable to find Cossacks on my PC and I always get this error message: "Cossacks not found on your PC. Install Cossacks first". I have an older CD release of the Anthology and with that version the mod works properly. Or maybe the GOG version is not compatible with certain mods. I have not tested it with any other mods yet.

Bump:
same here, got the mod on CD but cannot install it for the same reasons. It would be realy worth getting it to run somehow...

Try this:

1. Extract the contents of your mod1 setup file with 7zip or Universal Extractor
2. Search for the following files:

MODS01.GS2
mods.gs2

3. Change/rename the extension to .GS1
4. Copy these files to your installation folder (in the same folder where "ALL.GSC" is located).

5. Run the game. You should see 1.35+M135[BADDOG] on the lower right corner of your main menu.

The mod authors told that the original installation allows choosing between original BTW and the modded version, how can this be made just copying the mod files?

Anyway the reason I'm asking that is to know if the missions from BTW are still playable with the mod or they need to be launched from original BTW.
