I first thought the slow speed was FPS but it's not choppy, runs really smooth and things like leaves and stuff move as fast as you would expect, which isn't my experience with bad FPS, but it just seems my peasants are on sedatives! :P

Am I wrong and it is FPS? If not, is there a speed up button?

And since I'm here, is there a quick save?

Nope, the peasants in C2 move really slowly. It's not FPS. That's just the way it was programmed.

I don't think there is a quick save option. There wasn't in C1 either.
