I've been playing again but the mouse is very sluggish, like the FPS ingame is very slow. It makes playing the game a chore.

Mouse is fine in menus. It's only in the game.
Does anyone have a solution ?

It seems GOG capped the FPS at 20 ingame and that's why the mouse is sluggish. It was probably to mitigate the boarding bug.
Does anyone know how to modify that cap ?

I have never had this issue before, strange.
Here are a few suggestions:
- Try moving the game directly into the C:/ drive
- Try running in Win98 compatibility mode
- Check the in game speed, this can be increased or decreased with + or - (may need to hold shift), it may be less than 100% causing the stuttering

The game runs fine, but I find the mouse really sluggish (like it's moving by steps of 1cm per 1cm on my screen).
It's playable, but extremely annoying.

i have also had problems with the mouse in this game - but its something a bit different. There is no mouse when i get to the menu.

This game needs a fix for making it easier to use mouse controls and just make it less of a hassle to run on modern systems

you have to change your screen resolution to 800x600 or 1600x1200 max to be able to see the mouse cursor in the menu.
