I have a problem with Corsairs Gold. The map scrolling speed in boarding mode is so fast that the game is unplayable. There was a thread about this back in 2015, but maybe something has changed since then? I've tried everything people were writing about there and official solutions from GOG, but nothing helped. I've set VSync, tried to force the game to run on a single CPU core, or even changed power options on the computer, but none of these solutions worked. Maybe in 2024 there's already a solution to this problem?

My specs:
Win10
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
RX 580
16GB RAM DDR4
SSD Drive

I have the same problem. I can not fight in boarding because camera jumps extreme left or extreme right or extreme up/down.
Have you tried Windows 7 compatibility?
I put the folder game under C:/Corsairs Gold ("C:/" depends on the letter of your disk)
And I've run it in administrator mode and on Windows 10 with your configurations you shouldn't have any problems.
I found solution this problem. The problem lies in processors that are too fast these days.

You need to reduce the maximum power of the processor. This i very easy and simple.

Control Panel --- power options --- Change plan settings --- change advanced power settings --- processor power management --- maximum processor state

And change to 25% or 20% or 30%. Depends on who has how powerful processor.

And game working like 1999.

The problem with map scrolling speed in boarding mode is due to speed Frequence of screen.
You have to change the screen frequence to 60Hz with your nvidia or AMD graphic options and disable the G-Sync if it is enable.
I highly recommend to add the Windows XP SP2 comptability mode, administrator mode, unactive the full screen optimisation, to "corsairs.exe".
Change the resolution of your screen to 800x600 or 1600x1200 maximum to be able to see the mouse cursor in menu of the game.
Tested with Windows 10
