Haven't bought the game yet, is this the PC version or a port of the PSP one?
And what are the differences between them, the 1996, and the 3ds/IOS versions (Appart from the graphics)?
Please remain as spoiler-free as possible D:

The 1996 version had a much less elaborated storyline with much fewer characters. It also had an RPG-style last boss. It's very oldschool.

This version, the Team GrisGris version, is similar to the PSP/3DS/iOS version but the graphics are indie, as is the voice acting. There are some altered scenes, and there are fewer Extra Chapters compared to those versions, but it also contains one Extra Chapter that is an excerpt from Book of Shadows with the gameplay of the original game. That Extra Chapter is not in any other version.

The PSP/3DS/iOS version was a remake of the Team GrisGris PC version, this version being done by MAGES. with professional graphics and professional voice acting (the GrisGris version's indie voice acting is still very good and some say the graphics have a special charm of their own, however, even if this version may be objectively better). It also added several CG pictures to bad ending scenes etc, whereas the GrisGris version kept these scenes text only. It's debatable which approach is better, especially if your imagination is strong.

Thanks, I guess I should play all of them then, since there seems to be quite a lot of content in the other versions aswell
It's the end of 00's original PC remake version, translated and compatible with modern OS. And iOS and PSP/PSV versions ARE the ports.
