Steam version of the game was already updated few times, however GOG version so far stayed the same as it was on the release day. Are there any plans to provided the updated version anytime soon?..

Yeah, we definitely need an update. The game mostly seems fine, but the text skip button WILL skip text even if the in-game option is set to "skip viewed text only." That needs to be fixed if nothing else.

So glad to see gog.com got this game though. Finished chapter 1 tonight, holy crap.

Of course it's coming. Just not instantly every time we update, sadly. ;.; Sorry!
On Steam, Sara with the same avatar is one of the developers, so if they're the same than that's a good indication that we'll be get the update eventually. When we'll get it is likely not in their hands as the update has to go through the GOG patching process first, which is why they're always late in comparison to Steam. It's the downside of those useful installers.

Good to know someone is enjoying their time at Heavenly Host Elementary so far :)

Hopefully you like how the game progresses to the end too - there are some pretty awesome chase sequences later on in the game ^-^
I don't know if "enjoy" is the right word, but it is definitely an enthralling experience. It is equal parts disturbing, unsettling, scary... and heartbreaking. The whole game has a masterfully executed sense of unease to it. You wouldn't think a game with 16-bit graphics could do that at a glance, but holy crap it does.

And again, if the devs are reading this, thank you so much for bringing this to gog.com! I had my eye on it for ages, but it was download only for PSP/Vita, and I try to get download only games exclusively on PC. And I hope the sequels make it here as well :D

hey guys, I'm freaking out. How can I access the in-game options? I absolutely can't find a thing! Thanks.

EDIT: OMG, forget it, it was a problem with my control pad, it wasn't going down x_x

Now I'm on Chapter 5, and I must say the game need some patch indeed.

1st problem: The SKIP button is skipping most of the dialogues even if you didn't read them before.

2nd problem: Some dialogues will automatically skip if you press the confirm button once(for showing the dialogue text at once).

3rd problem: If you save your game inside a dark room, once you load it will become all clear.

4th problem: In the last Extra Chapter "Tooth", the characters will walk over Shimada's corpse laid on the floor, but their sprites will pass under his sprite instead.

5th problem: On chapter 5, the Box of Matches and Gas Burner got from the laboratory(bloody mannequin room) aren't translated in the inventory.
