Changelog for Update (added 07 December 2017):

- We are pleased to announce that Corpse Party is now available for Linux for the first time.
- This version of the game is based on the original Team GrisGris production of Corpse Party for Windows, known in Japan as "Corpse Party: BloodCovered," and we're proud to offer it to gamers on two brand new PC platforms, offering up more options than ever before for facing the horrors of Heavenly Host Elementary.
Linux port out of nowhere. Very cool. It already worked well with Wine, but this port fixes some minor UI-related issues and enables proper vsync.

Note: Users will have to install 32-bit versions of SDL2 and vorbis libraries (required by DxPortLib). There is no need to bundle them, however, since they are very ABI-stable and DxPortLib itself is open-source.
I’ve checked; one can just build it from source and use the new version as drop-in replacement :)
