Hello, I can't suggest buy this game, because the devs don't make update. On Steam is on 1.2, on GOG 1.1.0.4, and don't answer when the update come.

Yeah, Devs pls update the game here on gog. And keep it updated, pls.
Hello, My opinion has changed after some feedback, and it's just the devs who are timid. So yes, upon reflection, the game deserves your full attention.
I'm not sure I understand. The GoG version does still seem to be quite a bit behind. Why?
Still behind . Devs need to update .
I'll leave a negative review on the game: the newest update just launched on steam, while we are behind a bunch of updates (some of which with critical QoL additions), jumping between discord and asking for news the updates for over a year resulted in some moderator saying that the mobile and GOG version will be update once the major update rolls out.

I don't undderstand how they can justify this BS: we paid the same money as steam users, the product is the same, we deserve the same update and features and it's mindblogging that we are behind updates for their laziness.

I'm tired about 2nd citizen treatment.
The game got updated on GOG to version 1.2.5.c.

The game got updated dude.
*The GOG version is perfectly fine.* There's currently an ongoing misunderstanding that I'll try to clear as briefly as possible.

# As of 4 July 2024:
- the Steam version is at 1.3.3 (updated: 27 June),
- the GOG version is at 1.3.1 (updated: 03 June)
Looking at this at first glance gives the (false) impression that the GOG version is being disregarded. Worse, frequent GOG customers who have had their game's GOG version abandoned before by other companies/devs might fear that this is the case with Coromon as well. The reason why this is not the case is below:

# Looking at past updates:

Steam: 10 May 2024 update — Patch Notes 1.3.0

GOG: 2024-05-22 - update to version 1.3.0

So, if I understand correctly, *the GOG version is being properly updated and maintained*. The only caveat is that the Steam version gets the updates earlier. That's actually fine, no big deal. There must be some technical or organizational reason on the store / dev side for that being so -- I bought this game on Full price on GOG anyway because the devs really deserve the support

That being said, I think it would be really reassuring and positive for the Coromon gog community if the devs publicly commented about that (on the GOG forum for example).
That is not because this delay is a real problem. It is simply because it is way too common for some developers to leave GOG versions in the dust - sometimes for years - and people who buy on GOG are saturated and frustrated of that treatment and don't necessarily know the stance of Coromon's dev team on that.
Looking at the game page on gog at first glance really gives off that same impression. Even though it's a false impression, it takes some time to actually figure it out - we have to look at steam and GOG's update dates side by side (steam version history is crowded and requires a lot of scrolling to find release versions), look at past updates and realize that the updates always do come, there's just a small time lapse between versions.

As for me, I got this game on GOG without any worries, as I see clearly that I'm buying a properly maintained product, made by a very competent team that cares very much about their project. I don't mind the slight wait -- actually owning the game more than makes up for that (instead of a "license to play the game" that we get on Steam).

Looking forward to the 1.3.3 update :)
It would tame their PR person two minutes to post that they are working on the gog update rather than just not saying a word and making it look abandoned. It says major update on steamdb, it would be nice for them to at least communicate. Esp when they do delahed releases for gog and knowing how many times weve gotten burned in the past. One of the first things I check is if a game is not properly updated on gog before I buy it. Its why I havent and never will buy darkest dungeon.

OdNanKenobi: Snip
As of today the GOG version has received the 1.3.4 update (Windows only) It seems that the MAC version is behind a couple of versions. Maybe the dev forgot to update that version and would probably be best to contact gog support to let them know about it.

Agreed, I'd be nice if they did that. They surely would get more sales on GOG at least
