Taking the liberty to quote Sander until he arrives at these boards himself:
Often, bugs will be very obvious: Things like a unit driving through a wall or a weapon missing a sound, for example.
In other cases, bugs will be more obscure, or hard to explain. To aid us and yourself in figuring out what is actually going on, it can help greatly if you format your reports in an easy to understand way, and very clear way. The following format is exactly what I used as professional QA tester before I started on Convoy, and I think it works very well:
Observed behaviour: (Explain what happens)
Game does not pause properly during combat when the MCV has low HP, only for a split second (or whatever is actually going on)
Expected behaviour: (Explain what you think should happen)
Game always pauses like normal during combat, regardless of MCV state (or whatever you think is right)
Repro steps: (How te reproduce, step by step)
1. Start game
2. Get your MCV to very low HP
3. Save&Exit
4. Resume
5. Attempt to pause, observe problem
It can also help if you have any footage of the issue. Sometimes error logs might also give clues to what the issue is.
