So apparently there was reported a free update of somekind coming sometime next year (2025) for Control to as each article I see puts it that will unlock “previously released content.” for the game not sure if Gog will get it but I hope so ..still I can only assume the content its talking about is what was used as exclusive pre-order content or platform exclusive content..As I am unaware of any other content that could be referencing

yeah definitely hoping the 2025 update will get here, too, along with some gravely needed bugfixing.

They are porting this to the Mac, i really hope GOG will get the mac version. While I'm sure it's just an estimate the Mac App Store(or is it just App Store now?) says expected Feb.12 2025,

Maybe the Mac's release will bring the update?

Thats a thing too..though I admit I neglected to mention that do to gog tends to anymore not get many none windows version of games coming to the store plus well I admit I am quite abit more interested in what this''other content'' is supposed to be articles keep mentioning would get unlocked for Control in the update

If you would like to have access PS4 "exclusive" content you can easily enable it in the current PC version, by hex editing the exe. Just follow the guide on PC Gaming Wiki, linked below:
