Since Control came out recently and planning to buy it, are there any differences in buying it on Gog or Steam? For example, were there more glitches that was in the GOG release etc.
Both versions should be the same, just comes down to which store you wish to support.
GoG for sure, you can play the game while offline and download the installer to also install it offline, not to mention being able to stop auto-updates (or never update!) and revert to a previous patch version.
Always get the GOG version if something is available on GOG. You're supporting DRM free gaming and companies who are willing to try it.
Epic and gog versions should be the same.
Steam maybe just has steam drm added, but i don't know about that?

I mean wouldn't it make you feel nice to support a store that avoids drm and helps preserve gaming history? (ahem) *nudge :)

Thanks, I know GOG is drm and love what they're doing. But I wanted to know some games that are on GOG may run differently on Steam such as that game being more buggy but more optimized on Steam etc.
