A remedy dev by the name of Filippo Tarpini has patched in some goodies for Control. As far as I can tell, it completely breaks Cheevos - just a heads up.

This is so good it should be officially patched into the game. No chance I'll ever play this game again without having this installed on top.

I just installed and it is perfect, the performance and the visuals got a solid boost in my radeon card. The only drawback is that I lost my progress when I installed the patch, but since I was just starting the game, no big deal.
