I am using these Nexus mods with the required Control Plugin Loader (just a DDL file placed in the root install directory). The game, installed in GOG Galaxy, always crashes after the first splash screen. How do I fix this? Remedy really should have given mouse and keyboard users immediate access to all the weapon styles with the number row. The limitation makes no sense.

You should provide more information about your system (hardware, OS, etc.) in order to get help.

That said, does the unmodded game work? Are you sure that the mods are causing the crash?
If the answer is yes, I suggest you to review the log file PluginLoader.log located in the directory %LOCALAPPDATA%\Remedy\Control\.

The mods work after moving Control out of the GOG Galaxy folder or when launching it with the DX11 executable, which I guess means no achievements. I'm okay with that.
