Okay, so I have a good rig:

13th Gen Intel i7-13620H
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB Laptop GPU
16GB RAM
All drivers up to date.

While playing Control, the game will OFTEN trigger hibernation. Yes, the underside of the rig is hot, around 60c, but that's not hot enough to trigger emergency shutdown. I've run this thing hotter for hours while rendering complex scenes in Blender.

Is anyone else experiencing this, and is there a fix?

Further context:

I've dropped all quality settings to damn-near potato, disabled hardware acceleration, increased fan speed to max, and made sure there were no hidden keyboard shortcuts that would trigger hibernation during gameplay.
