It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I've tried all the provided solutions in other threads and it has not worked for me.

I'm using mousex with the settings "mousex 100 50 game.exe" dosbox.conf.

As well as sensitivity =100. But I still get problems with mouse movements.

Please help!

I'm on 64-bit Windows 7
Anyone?
I can't play my game fluently, please help.
I'm afraid that sometimes people on the forums simply don't have an answer. It's not that we're ignoring you, just that we don't know.

Have you logged a support request with GOG?

Can you also define what you mean by 'buggy'? I doubt I can help if you do, but it may remind someone else of something.

Some general things I'd suggest from experiencing mouse difficulties. If you're on a cordless mouse, try a corded one if available. If you're connecting via a hub, try connecting direct into one of your motherboards USB ports. Generally try to reduce the number of things in the way between the mouse and the PC.

Sorry I can't be more help.

If I move the mouse slowly, it usually won't move at all. I have to move the mouse really fast to get fluid movements, but even after that it's difficult to press buttons to play the game.

I've now opened a support ticket with GoG, let's see what happens.

I have no problems with my mouse elsewhere, although I did have the same problem in Star Wars: Dark Forces (another game you need to play in DosBox). I could look left and right when playing the game. But when I was in the menus the same problem occurred from Constructor.

I can connect my mouse to the motherboard directly. It's a Logitech G700, it's wireless but I can plug it in to be wired as well.

Are you launching constructor from the GOG provided shortcut, or do you manually start DOSBox and run it from there?

I'm using the one the GoG installer put on my desktop. It has this in it.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Constructor\DOSBOX\dosbox.exe" -conf dosbox.conf -noconsole -c "exit"

That should work. I'm all out of ideas I'm afraid. The only thing left I can suggest is to visit the DOSBox forums. It's most likely a config issue, with which they will have far more experience. If you describe the issues with both Constructor and Dark Forces, then hopefully there'll be a setting that you can tweak.

Other than that it's wait for support I'm afraid (or other users of the forum).

Please let us know how it turns out. If you get a resolution then please do post it for others.

Thanks for your help so far. I've posted on the DOSBox forums and will post back if I get the problem solved.
Okay I've solved this now, but my solution may not be viable for everyone as it requires access to be able to change your mouse report rate. I have a Logitech G700 which comes with drivers to edit a lot of settings such as DPI. One of them includes the polling rate/report rate at which the mouse operates at. Originally I had mine set to 1000, but setting it to 125 gives consistent mouse movements in Constructor.

Sorry if this isn't a solution for, but it worked for me.

I finally fixed this problem and can play dos games properly using my Logitech G700. What you have to do do is to enter mouse setting of Windows itself. There is an option called "Enhance Pointer Precision" under the tab "Pointer Options". Disable it and mouse movement is fixed.

Also don't forget the disable mouse acceleration from Logitech Gaming Software.
